Spring is here and you know what that means? Yoshis hatching from their eggs, of course! This realistic little Yoshi is busting out of his polka-dotted shell, which is surrounded by a base of flowers and red mushrooms. The sculpture was made from polymer clay. The yoshi egg is a layer of clay wrapped around a real, blown-out chicken egg, and the sculpture is fairly light-weight. It was detailed and painted with great care, and coated in a clear glaze.
